Litigation can be a costly endeavor for a business or individual, whether they are the plaintiff or defendant. ESG has a history of providing expert forensic and litigation services for environmental mediation or trial with specialties in architectural forensics and personal injury due to an indoor environmental microbial hazard. ESG will work discreetly with legal counsel to develop environmental litigation strategies and can step in to assist at any phase of trial preparation.

ESG employs a variety of evidence gathering and forensic techniques to build a solid case. Our investigative methods have withstood the most stringent cross examination. Attorneys for the other side often comment that they want ESG ontheir team the next time they are in court for an environmental issue relative to mold. 

ESG's owner and principal investigator, Craig Whittaker, studied law at UNC-Chapel Hill and has survived cancer due to an environmental agent. Dr. Whittaker approaches each case with care and sensitivity and will not take on a project for which he cannot add value. Dr. Whittaker's qualifications are many and include serving on IESO committees writing standards for the assessment of mold in schools and residential buildings and for the assessment of arsenic in pressure treated lumber.
